The Business Management Section is an element within the Administration Division that consists of the Budget Unit; the Alarms Unit; and the Forfeiture Detail, which is also responsible for managing the Vehicle Impoundment Program and the Strategic Planning/Performance Unit. The Business Management Section is responsible for the development and monitoring of the department's annual budget; manages the acquisition, allotment and maintenance of all department expenditures; manages the administration of civil forfeitures including the Vehicle Impoundment Program; promotes a cooperative relationship between the department and the commercial alarm system venders and users. |
