The City of Miami Police Department wishes to announce its intention to apply for funding through the Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant (JAG) Program FY 2010 Local Solicitation, as referenced on the attached. The Department of Justice requires that applicant agencies make their application available to the public to enable citizens and neighborhood or community organizations an opportunity to comment prior to the agency’s application to the Bureau of Justice Assistance, Office of Justice Programs. The City of Miami Police Department is hereby fulfilling this requirement through this internet posting.
