CLAIM PROPERTY

Personal property may be retrieved by appointment only from the Property Unit at the Miami Police Department’s Central Station, located at 400 NW 2nd Avenue, Miami, FL 33128.

To schedule an appointment, please contact the Property Unit at (305) 603-6455, Monday through Friday, between 8:00 A.M. and 3:00 P.M.

For expedited service, have your case number available when calling. A Property Specialist will verify that your items are ready for release before scheduling your appointment.

When retrieving property, you must present a valid government-issued photo ID. If you are retrieving a firearm, you are also required to provide a Bill of Sale that includes your name and the firearm’s serial number.
