On Monday June 3, 2024, the Miami Police Department will be unveiling its newly wrapped LGBTQ+ Pride Vehicle designed by local artist Vic Garcia at 10AM. After the unveiling the Miami Police Department and sixteen (16) other Law Enforcement agencies from Miami-Dade County will join forces in a multi-jurisdiction LGBTQ+ Police Pride Caravan for unity, transparency, and community awareness.

The caravan will begin after the unveiling at Miami Police Department (400 NW 2nd Avenue, Miami, 33128) for all the agencies. The caravan will go along a planned route within Miami-Dade County and continue south until reaching the final destination at the Village of Pinecrest.

The purpose of "Advocating the Community" is to provide vital information and knowledge to our community members. Through this initiative, we aim to foster awareness, support, and empowerment among our residents, particularly those who have been impacted by various forms of victimization. By bringing together local agencies and organizations, we strive to create a collaborative platform where resources and expertise can be shared to better serve our community's needs.
