The Support Services Section is an element within the Administration Division. It consists of the Special Projects Unit, the Accreditation Unit, the Records Unit, and the Court Liaison Unit.
The Section has a wide range of responsibilities including:
1. Providing departmental employees a healthy, clean and operationally effective facility to work in and managing capital improvement projects
2. Ensuring that court-related appearances by department personnel are accomplished expeditiously, efficiently and effectively
3. Ensuring timely entry and access to incident reports, arrest affadavits, and traffic crash reports for investigators and the public
4. Responding to public records requests
5. Updating departmental orders and publishing the Official Bulletin and City of Miami Police Department Annual Report |
